System Requirements for Formic Fusion Formic Fusion will install on:

  • Windows 7
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows Server 2008
  • Windows Server 2003
  • Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 2  or higher)

 

Database Environment:

Fusion requires Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later (any edition, including Express) to be present at the point of installation, along with the Microsoft Data Access Component (MDAC) software.

Fusion Pro

Fusion Pro can be split into 2 main parts; the Fusion Client PC and the Fusion Database Server. These can either be on the same computer or can be spread over different computers.

The Fusion Client PC – this is the PC that runs the four modules (Design, Capture, DataView and Management Console) and there may be several of these PCs.

The Fusion Database Server – this is the Server (or PC) that holds the data and must have Microsoft SQL Server installed. Both the client PC and Database server must be able to see each other over a network for the system to work.
